COVID-19 has been an unprecedented global challenge, and battling this virus’s unpredictable behavior has been at the forefront of international and national organizations worldwide. One of the most effective ways to prevent the spread is early detection and prevention of the virus’s potential reach. Contact tracing is one of the most effective methods to prevent the spread of this deadly virus. As one of the top development agencies in the United States, OWDT joined forces with authorities to research, plan, and develop a digital contact tracing solution.
OWDT developed the first and only contact tracing engine to receive the seal of approval from both the Apple and Google review teams. Currently, Multiple SDK deployments of the application plus four satellite Apps are serving nationally recognized institutions and government organizations, and offices.
The project also encompassed brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and digital design. OWDT planned and developed a complete brand architecture and supporting assets. The logo’s divergent lines represent the human in-person contact nature, and the top checkmark illustrates the app’s contact tracing behavior. The collaborative design elements conclusively shape an X mark to express the more desired result of any potential exposure.
