I have over 25 years of experience writing marketing materials and business publications. Since 2011, I’ve led the OWDT content development team in creating concise, well-researched digital content for a wide range of industries and professions. Over the years, I’ve carefully honed my skills to help organizations and executives develop marketing materials that advantage them competitively.
Before working for OWDT, I was a private consultant with focus on corporate/university training curricula development and seminar facilitation for over 15 years. My clients have included-Coca-¬‐Cola, Verizon, FedEx, AT&T, the American Red Cross, ConocoPhillips, The United Way, Southern Company, United HeatlhCare, the USDA Grad School, the VA, and CDC.
Growing up in Los Angeles, I earned a B.A. from USC and an M.A. from UCLA. Always eager for adventure, I then lived in the Middle East as a Peace Corps Volunteer, later lecturing for the University of Maryland in Italy and Germany to fulfill my passion for bridging cross-cultural differences.. Returning stateside, I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Florida. I subsequently worked four years as a full time professor at a southeastern college before choosing to return to California where I worked in the Aerospace industry as a systems and procedures analyst and HR trainer.
I am a passionate learner, continually researching new developments across a wide range of subjects to ensure that I am grounded in the highest quality, most leading-edge information for my clients. In my spare time, you’ll find me hiking through national parks, spending quality time with family and friends and traveling to new destinations.
